I didn’t set out to become a bookkeeper — bookkeeping found me.

What started as a way to bring order to the chaos became the perfect blend of my love for organization, problem-solving, and helping small businesses thrive profitably.

For nearly 25 years, I worked in the fashion industry — leading teams, managing product development, and translating trends into collections that were both beautiful and financially sound. That experience taught me something invaluable: creativity and numbers can (and should) work together to tell the real story of a business.

When life shifted, I stepped back to focus on my son’s medical challenges — a season that redefined what success looked like and deepened my appreciation for calm, structure, and purpose. That pause gave me perspective — and ultimately shaped how I now serve my clients.

Today, through Stuart + Dudley Bookkeeping, I help entrepreneurs, creatives, and small business owners find that same sense of clarity and confidence in their numbers. My goal is simple: make your books make sense, so you can make empowered decisions, grow sustainably, and reclaim your time.
